We’ll be hosting the second workshop in a series relating to the philosophy of David Lewis. Where first concerned issues in Lewisian metaphysics, the remit of this second workshop is widened to also encompass issues relating to Lewis’s philosophies of language and mind.

The workshop will take place on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd September, and the speakers will be:

Tuesday 22nd September

Karen Lewis (Columbia). Counterfactual Discourse in Context.

Wednesday 23rd September

Nathan Wildman (Hamburg). Elusive Essence.
Romy Jaster (HU-Berlin). A Paradox of Time Travel Revisited.
Daniel Nolan (ANU). Can Possible Worlds Help Explain Linguistic Meaning?
